In the event of any such course cancellation, the course of the cost (location of instruction, Handout fees, course instructor costs) will be refunded to participants. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Clare Frank, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, is a world renowned Doctor of Physical Therapist based out of Los Angeles.

Clare is the founder of Movement Links, a company focused on empowering and inspiring rehab professionals on the movement approach. She was part of the medical team for the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships in Los Angeles, and has been on the injury prevention and rehabilitation team for the National Training Center in Beijing, China, since 2010. Frank is a certified instructor for Janda’s Approach to Musculoskeletal Pain Syndromes, and Kolar’s Approach to Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. She has presented at state and national conferences, teaches in the U.S. and internationally, and co-authored Assessment and Treatment of Muscle Imbalance: The Janda Approach (Human Kinetics, 2010). Her clinical career has been greatly influenced by Shirley Sahrmann, PT, Ph.D., and the Prague School of Manual Medicine faculty, namely the late Vladimir Janda, MD, D.Sc., the late Karel Lewit, MD, and Pavel Kolar, PT, Ph.D. She completed the Kaiser Permanente orthopedic residency program in 1993 while working on her master’s degree.

Briefly review regional interdependence of shoulder complex in relation to the kinetic chain.
Refine handling skills focusing on:
contact points with handling (facilitatory and inhibitory techniques)
body positioning (patient & clinician)
optimization of stability-mobility re-ed and training
