Finally Class starts! A lot of people asked me if people were drinking during the class. Believe me when I tell you that Irene Davis put together such an amazing lecture that we did not even notice the bar! The after class Q&A during happy hour was another story however.
The Bunkhouse is a venue where famous bands such as Built to Spill and The Killers have performed as recently as this year.
Lunch break / meeting new friends in the back yard of The Bunkhouse.
Old friends catching up......
Crystal (left) and Kathy have a moment during a break.
Crystal: "Irene Davis was an amazing and engaging speaker. I would never have thought I would take such a valuable class inside a Vegas saloon! I had so much fun that I decided I will be back for another Jetset course soon."
Lunch break was held in the back yard. One of the benifits to keeping a class small is that you can relax with the instructor and even get to know them during the breaks. Here Irene Davis holds court over some cold drinks and lunch.
Here is a tweet sent out by our instructor after she got home. We are already planning on having her back next year in a different location.
A staple of a Jetset class is the after class networking events. In this class it was happy hour in the back of the classroom. Here students are encouraged to bring family and friends who may have traveled with them. This is also a great time to meet new friends.
Happy hour is also a great time to ask specific questions to the instructor.
Some choose to use the time to catch up with old friends and colleagues.
Deep Happy hour conversations with Tracey and Priti.
Kristie and Andre networking.
As the band started warming up for that night's show, we knew it was time to go back to the hotel.
A bus was chartered and everyone was taken back to the hotel for a nap or a dip in the pool. Flashbacks from the middle school bus rides were had.
Good Bye Bunkhouse!
Every Jetset class has after class options. In Vegas we had bottle service, Dinner option, or a Vegas show. Photo is at Light in the Mandalay Bay
Please consider our classes in 2018. There are also a few spots in our 2017 Vegas class.
