Course Objectives :
1. By the end of the course, the clinician will accurately perform and verbally explain the rationale for at least 4 special tests used in the diagnosis of Lateral Epicondylitis
2. The clinician will correctly perform a cervical and thoracic spine clearing examination and demonstrate 3 peripheral nerve tension/provocation tests (radial, median, and ulnar) and will identify positive vs. negative findings for each.
3. The clinician will identify at least 3 proximal (scapular/shoulder girdle) muscle groups implicated in Lateral Epicondylitis and demonstrate 2 corresponding assessment or treatment techniques targeting proximal stability.
4. The clinician will correctly demonstrate proper technique for at least 4 exercises (e.g., eccentric wrist extensor loading, isometric grip strengthening, scapular stabilization exercises, stretching) used in the management of Lateral Epicondylitis, and will verbally justify exercise selection based on patient presentation.

10:15 - 11:00 Review of current literature on evaluation and treatment of Tennis Elbow
11:00 - 12:00 Role of Kinetic Chain and Trunk in Elbow.
12:00- 1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 Lab - looking at Static posture, Special tests, and differentiation of source structures. Upper quarter exam
2:30 pm - Break
2:45 - 4: Treatment of Tennis Elbow
4:00- 4:30 - Closing remarks / Discussion.
About the Instructors :
Randal Glaser DPT, OCS - Randal has been practicing care for over 15 years as a Physical therapist. He has spoken at APTA CSM poster and platform presentations on the Elbow and was co-author for JOSPT Article on Tennis Elbow in 2013. He was a faculty in an orthopedic residency for Physical Therapists.
Jiten Bhatt DPT, OCS - Jiten has been practicing care for over 25 years as a Physical therapist. He has spoken at APTA CSM poster and platform presentations on the Elbow and was co-author for JOSPT Article on Tennis Elbow in 2013. Jiten has taught internationally and in the US to other rehab professionals including physical therapists and is a DNS practitioner. He was also a faculty member in an orthopedic residency for Physical Therapists.
