Calling Timeout to Pain: Exploring Pain Science in the Athletic Population
Course Description - This live, online, 6 hour webinar will focus on educating clinicians on how pain science principals affect the athletic population. The format will use case-based learning, focusing on specific patient vignettes, each centering a specific pain science topic that affects the athletic population.Through each case, the clinicians will learn how to utilize the information from a diagnostic framework, focusing on subjective and objective exam skills, as well as how to address the issue from a treatment perspective. The content is intended to elucidate the hidden struggles that athletes often deal with, that are often missed, leading to longer injury timelines & worse return to play outcomes.
